On Presidents' Day I was lucky enough to attend a very classy fundraiser at the Nader Fine Art Gallery in Wynwood Miami. The canapes were excellent - white stilton with cranberries could become a favourite for me. Thank you to our gracious host Mr. Gary Nader for his hospitality.
Hillary Clinton had been due to be the guest of honour but she was called away and at the last minute sent husband former President Bill Clinton. He is charismatic - a wonderful speaker, articulate, informed, enthusiastic. At the end of his speech ( all delivered without notes) I posed for a photograph with him. What a gentleman. He strategically placed the copy of my next book Dark Hole in My Soul which he was holding so as to be highly visible in the photograph. The opening chapters of the book feature the drama surrounding a female Presidential candidate arriving at a fundraiser on Miami Beach! Don't you love it when art replicates real life? He said he would take it home for Hillary. I am sure that is just what she needs - some light reading. GO HILLARY
