Many people these days work from home. Seems I have found a new routine, I work 'from sea.' Since cruising returned last fall I have been on multiple cruises. I am becoming an expert on the differences between Princess, Carnival, Norwegian and Virgin. Every time I decide one is my favourite, I take anther trip and find signature elements to enjoy. Carnival delivers a family fun cruise, NCL tends to attract rather more mature passengers who enjoy lectures and enrichment activities that don't involve zip lines; Princess is elegant and sophisticated in these days of casual dining and lack of dress codes on board. They still have formal nights with an opportunity to dress up. Virgin has a special place in my heart. Sir Richard Branson's Voyages are the newest cruise line and they attract a fashionable crowd of millennials, who never need to ask for a paper menu (everything is available on the app) and the brand new ships are hip, sleek, contemporary. 'Not your parents' cruise.'
